Legal & GDPR Notice
The compliance framework under which the property operates — licences, responsible gambling duties, and the rights of international guests including GDPR where it applies.
1. Licensing & operation
The property operates under the licences and approvals applicable to hotel, food-and-beverage and casino operations in South Australia, supervised by the relevant state authorities. Licence particulars are available on request through the compliance desk.
2. Responsible gambling commitment
Gaming services are provided under the SA responsible gambling code: self-exclusion and pre-commitment tools are available, staff are trained in intervention, and support referrals are offered without judgement. If gambling stops being entertainment, help exists — the desk can connect you to Gambling Help services confidentially.
3. Rights for EU/EEA guests (GDPR)
Where we process personal data of individuals in the European Union — for example when an EU resident books directly with us — GDPR applies alongside Australian law. You hold rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, exercised by writing to [email protected]. Regulatory gaming records subject to Australian statutory retention cannot be erased during the retention period.
4. Regulators & escalation
Privacy matters: Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Gaming matters: the South Australian regulator as named in our licence documentation. We cooperate fully with both and provide escalation contact details on request.
