Barossa Wine Expeditions
Chauffeured cellar-door days built by our sommelier — back-vintage tastings, maker meetings and long lunches at tables the tour buses never find.
The valley, without the bus
Our sommelier writes each route the week you travel — matched to what you actually drink, not the standard circuit. Most stops are appointments, not walk-ins.
The car carries a cold box for what you buy, and the cellar at the hotel stores it until you fly.

A day in the valley
How the route actually runs.
09:00 — depart
Car collects at the porte-cochère, coffee for the road.
Morning doors
Two appointments — often a maker pouring his own back vintages.
Long lunch
A booked table at one of the valley's serious kitchens.
Afternoon + return
Two more doors, a lookout, home by 18:00 for dinner.
Why our routes differ
The sommelier holds relationships with small houses that don't take walk-ins — the day is built from those relationships, so two guests rarely repeat the same route.
Buying on the day
Anything you buy rides in the cold box, registers with the hotel cellar, and ships home insured — or stays here for your next visit. Allocation bottles often price better at the door than at retail.
$520 pp classic day
Classic day $520 pp covering car, tastings and lunch. Collector's and heli formats quoted per date — the concierge confirms the route in writing.
