About aussiebedandbreakfast.com

A casino hotel built into Adelaide's Festival precinct — where a century-old railway façade meets a modern tower of suites, salons and one very serious kitchen.

Festival Drive, Adelaide 212 rooms & suites Full casino floor

Heritage & architecture

The site began as a railway administration block; its sandstone façade was preserved stone by stone during the tower build. The monogram above the porte-cochère is the original foundry stamp.

Architect's note

"We kept every arch that earned its keep and let the new tower float behind it. The building should read as two centuries talking politely." — Studio North, Adelaide

Zen Stone Garden

The courtyard sits between the stone garden and the bamboo walk — the only place in the building where nothing wants anything from you.

Full FAQ
The Festival Drive façade dates to 1901; the tower behind it opened in 2020 after a five-year build that preserved the heritage stonework.
Yes — the gaming floor occupies the ground level of the same precinct, with a residents' lift running between suites, spa and salon without crossing the public floor.
Absolutely. Most residents never place a bet — they come for the spa, the restaurants, the rooftop pool and the Barossa day trips. The casino is a wing of the house, not the whole house.
The heritage ballroom seats 480 for dinner and the boardrooms handle discreet corporate work. Details are on our events page.
